Updated In February, 2012 - This poker room was once one of the leading rooms on the Cake Poker Network. Earlier this year Players Only Poker and Sportsbook Poker merged with the Merge Gaming Network, taking a majority of the Cake Poker Network's traffic with them. The Merge Network has nearly doubled in size since this merger so needless to say everyone is quite happy, except for Cake Poker. Now that Players Only Poker is one this popular network there are plenty of extra features players can take advantage of. Their new software is loaded with extra features you won't find anywhere else. Players Only is more than just a poker room skin. Thy have been in the online gambling business for many years and offer a casino, a sportsbook, horse betting and a poker site with a built-in casino. So they essentially offer two casinos, a smaller one in the poker client and a separate full range casino. This review will only cover the Players Only Poker room and built in casino. They host many unique promotions that you won't find at the other rooms on their network, I will cover those in more detail below. Players Only poker deposit bonuses

Players Only Poker Software Features
The software at Players Only Poker is much different than what they had when they were on the Cake Network. Their game variety alone has increased by around 300%, and that's just counting the poker games. I have provides an overview of the software features and game line-up at Players Only below.
Software Features:
- Emotions: The chat box at Players Only Poker's tables enable you to communicate with the other players in a totally unique way. If you type in the word "Fish" an animated fish will appear on the table. The same is true for "donk", "shark" and several other common terms. They also have all of the traditional smiley faces and stuff.
- Rabbit: This feature is one of my favorites. If you place a bet and everyone else folds pre-flop you have the option to have the dealer dealer the flop, 4th street and the river to see what would have happened. Showing you hand is also an option but if you want you can only show one card, just like you see the pro's do on TV.
These features really enable you to interact with the other players and possibly even get in their heads. There are too many specific features to list here but I'm sure these two will suffice to interest you.
Competition's skill level at Players Only poker
Players Only Poker is home to many of their casino and sports betting players. They were the main reason for the insanely soft competition on the Cake Poker Network. Now that they have a new network, one that was already soft to begin with, the competition is even softer. If you are a Texas Hold'em player, fixed or no limit, you will be able to find incredibly soft action at Players Only. The average flop percentages are much higher here than what you will find at other rooms.
Players Only poker Card Games & Traffic Statistics
Players Only Poker offers more specific card games than any other poker room. Their game line-up includes all of the "standard" poker games as well as many less common games. As you can see from the image below Players Only offers several games you won't find outside of the network. The meter below each game indicates the average traffic for each game based on the overall traffic at Players Only Poker. In addition to the games listed below you will also find a large number of mixed poker variants at Players Only. This includes H.O.R.S.E, H.O.S.E, R.A.S.H, H.A.R, H.O, H.A and S.H.O.E poker. Not too many players currently play the mixed games at Players Only but it's only a matter of time.
Players Only poker's Casino & Game Room
Players Only Poker's software comes equipped with a very popular casino suite. It is by no means a full range casino but they have includes all of the popular casino games such as Blackjack and Video Poker. One thing I have noticed as both an affiliate and a player is that the payout percentages for Players Only Poker's casino games seem to be higher than those of the typical online casino. As an affiliate I tend to lose a small chunk of my revenue from poker players to the casino game players. I'm not saying that they always win but they do seem to do significantly better than players I send to regular online casinos.
