  • a guide to the Bronze Star VIP Level at poker stars in 2012

pokerstars bronzestarUpdated In May, 2012 - The BronzeStar or Bronze Star VIP level at Pokerstars is where all new players start out. Even the smallest stakes players will only spend a week or two in this VIP tier. The benefits for the Bronzestar level are few so most players quickly earn the 750 Poker Stars VPPs to graduate to the Silverstar level. It is important to remember that when you move up the VIP ladder at Poker Stars the benefits of the previous VIP Club tiers remain available to you. As a Bronzestar member you will earn one FPP for each VPP. As you move up the VIP tiers you can earn up to 5 FPPs for each VPP. This is the backbone of the Pokerstars VIP program so you won't want to stay in this VIP level for very long. Bronzestar players at Pokerstars can buy a special $25 VIP Reward Bonus any time they want and play in daily, weekly and monthly tournaments with very small FPP entry fees. In 2010 the reward bonuses needed to be cleared but not anymore. To reward players even more than they already do Pokerstars has decided to make this instant cash credits that do not need to be cleared. Everyday Pokerstars will run three $500 and three $1,000 Bronzestar tournaments with 10 & 20 FPP buy-ins. Since the entry fee is so low these are basically freerolls and can really help a Bronze Star player maintain a decent bankroll.

    Bronzestar VIP level FAQ's

    Q. Can I buy any Stellar Rewards or Milestone Cash Credits if I am a Bronze Star member?
    A. The first Stellar Reward is available when you have earned 750 VPP's, the same number as the requirement for Silverstar status. Milestone cash credits are only available to Supernova and Supernova Elite players so the answer to this question is no.

    Q. How long will it take me to move on to the Silverstar VIP level?
    A. A small stakes player can expect to earn around 75 VPP's per hour so you could become a Silverstar player in 10 hours of play. If you play at 2+ tables a month you can reduce this time by at least 50%. Our guide on the best way to earn Pokerstars VPPs will teach you some strategies on earning FPPs and VPPs quickly.
